On Sunday, October 8th, 2000, 169 people participated in the ground
breaking and dedication service held at 407 S23 Highway (Palmyra
                  Road).

A new 18,700 square foot structure is to be built. The new church will
seat triple what the old sanctuary seats. There will be a Jr. High and Sr.
High youth group activity room, along with 15 classrooms, a nursery,
office, library, and large social hall. These new rooms will help us
                  facilitate our growth.

The Middle River Congregation began back in 1851 and in 2001 we will
be celebrating our 150 year anniversary along with the City of Carlisle.

We wish to thank ALMIGHTY GOD for all the wonderful blessings that
He has bestowed on us as a church family throughout the years and
know that He will continue to direct and bless us in the future.
